Dear Checker Player: We have an excellent tournament planned for May 11th and 12th, 2012 in Humboldt, Tennessee. Our location is in the Regions Bank at 1214 Main Street. We will have food provided each day for lunch and you can eat in the playing room. We are attempting to have three levels of play. If we can get as many as six players for The C group, then we will run it. We will have a sizeable prize fund again this year. Our playing facilities are excellent with plenty of playing room. Registration will be at 8:00am on the 11th and play will start a 9:30am. The Strawberry Festival Checker Tournament has been going for over 70 years in conjunction with The West Tennessee Strawberry Festival, which is 78 years of tradition in Humboldt. Strawberry Festival. I have had reports of players who have had trouble

are approximately 20 minutes / 14 miles from the playing room in Humboldt.
